Cow Abduction

Work created for a group exhibition on the theme of Cinema at the Em'art gallery (Lyon - France).

Cinema presents aliens obsessed with cows on Earth. Here it is a flagrant delirium of abduction in the night. From a bowl broken in two, I imagined the transformation into a flying saucer to recreate this famous science fiction scene.

Cinema has always been fascinated by elsewhere, by the unknown. Extraterrestrials have become its emblematic figures. From Mars Attack to Independence Day via E.T, these cinematographic creatures have fed our imagination, our fears or our fantasies. Through 3 works for this exhibition, I wish to explore the diversity of these representations and how they continue to fascinate us.

In a “Pop Mosaic” style, the mosaic works were made from a real object (plates and bowl).
